Tamworth is the country music capital of Australia. It hosts one of the world's biggest music events, the 10-day Tamworth Country Music Festival. Even if you miss the festival, held every January, Tamworth is a delightful destination at any time with many things to do, see and taste.

The working cattle and sheep station is near Tamworth, a region well-known for its agriculture. This region has a strong farming focus on sheep, beef, poultry, grains and dairy, as well as newer ventures, such as vineyards, olive groves, nuts, fish farming, honey and delicious berries.

Tamworth is five hours’ drive from Sydney in northern NSW. You can travel by train from Sydney’s Central Station to Tamworth. Airlines fly from Sydney to Tamworth. The town is also a leisurely drive from the gorgeous beaches of Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, on the North Coast of NSW.
